On the big wedding day, where a couple unites and declares their love for each other through their vows, what would be your love commitments and messages for one another? So do you have your special definition of love in your personal dictionary?
The ancient Greek used 7 words to define the different states of love:
Storge: a type of natural affection, the love you share with your family.
Philia: the love that you have for friends.
Eros: sexual and erotic desire kind of love (can be positive or negative)
Agape: this is unconditional love, or divine love
Ludus: this is playful love, could be a little childish and flirty.
Pragma: long standing love through thick and thin . The love in a married couple.
Philautia: the love of the self (could be negative or positive)
These are 7 different types of feelings. They can be a constant or ever changing. You can also feel different emotions at different times or you can feel it all at once with your special someone.
